Terms of Use

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Welcome to emailticking.com (“the Site,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you,” “user”) and the operator of the Site. They cover how you access and use the Site and related services. If you don’t agree, please stop using the Site.

We provide a temp-email / activation-code service: after you sign in and top up, you pick a target site and email domain, buy a temp inbox, poll for codes and message bodies on the Site, then cancel or order again when you’re done. Delivery rules are in the Service Agreement. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.

1) Acceptance & scope

These Terms apply to everything we offer on the Site, including account signup/login, balance top-ups, buying temp emails for a site and domain, polling for codes and full messages, order history / cancel / reorder, and the open API (ApiKey).

2) Definitions

  • Balance — prepaid credit on your account (priced in USD), used to pay for orders and related fees.
  • Target site (site) — the third-party site or app where you’ll enter the temp email and expect a verification or activation message.
  • Email domain (domain) — the domain we use when assigning your temp inbox (e.g. gmail.com), as shown on the page and confirmed at checkout.
  • Order / activation — a service request to get a temp inbox and receive verification mail.
  • Code / mail result — the verification code (if any) and/or full email body we return.
  • Temp email — an address we provide for short-term verification mail. It may be recycled and reused; it is not a permanent mailbox.

3) What this service is (important)

We provide technical access to temp inboxes so you can receive verification or activation mail from third-party platforms. We are not an email provider or telecom carrier. We don’t issue, permanently assign, or long-term lease mailbox accounts to you.

Temp inboxes are usually shared or recyclable. Expect delays, undelivered mail, sender-side blocks, stock and price swings, and upstream rate limits. Codes are fetched by polling upstream status — we don’t promise push delivery.

4) Accounts, login & security

  • Signup / login — accounts are identified by email. Password login and one-time email codes are both supported.
  • Accurate info — use a real, working email and keep your login credentials and ApiKey safe.
  • Not allowed — bulk signup, automated signup/login, bypassing rate limits or fraud controls, or abusing the API.
  • Account action — if we see abuse, fraud, or illegal use, we may suspend or terminate the account and keep records as needed for compliance.

5) Your rights & responsibilities

5.1 Your rights

  • With enough balance, buy temp emails at the listed price and view order status, codes, and message bodies;
  • While an order is waiting and no code has arrived yet, cancel under the rules and get the charge back to balance;
  • View your own top-ups and email orders, and manage your ApiKey in Account;
  • Contact support about top-up issues or double charges for a review.

5.2 Your responsibilities

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and follow the target site’s rules and applicable law;
  • Decide whether a site/domain fits your use case; you’re responsible if a third party rejects, blocks, or delays mail;
  • Don’t use temp emails for government, banking, payments, or other high-sensitivity flows, or for fraud, money laundering, harassment, spam, or similar abuse;
  • Keep your account and ApiKey secure — you’re responsible for activity under those credentials.

6) Our rights & responsibilities

  • Provide the service — under normal operations, we’ll work to complete ordering, polling for codes, and eligible cancel/refunds, and show prices and stock (final result at checkout wins).
  • Change & maintain — we may adjust prices, available sites/domains, rate limits, and fraud controls; we may maintain, upgrade, or briefly interrupt the system.
  • Abuse response — we may rate-limit, freeze, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; except where law requires otherwise, related balance may not be refunded.
  • No guarantees — we don’t guarantee that a third party will send mail, that a code will arrive, uninterrupted uptime, or any particular success rate.

7) Balance, billing & pricing

  • Billing — balance is deducted when an order succeeds. The price that matters is what’s shown and charged at checkout.
  • Price changes — upstream cost, FX, stock, and margin rules can move prices; stock and prices can change quickly.
  • Upstream failure — if we can’t assign a temp email, we roll back or refund that charge and mark the order failed.

8) Payments & top-ups

Top-ups may be handled by third-party payment providers. For payment and reconciliation we record top-up order IDs, amounts, status, third-party transaction IDs, and callback data.

Important: payment happens with the third party. We don’t store full card numbers or similar sensitive payment details. Unless required by law, top-ups generally aren’t refundable to the original payment method.

9) Refunds & disputes

9.1 Top-up refunds

Unless the law says otherwise, top-ups usually aren’t refunded to the original payment method. If you were charged twice or credit didn’t land, email support and we’ll look into it.

9.2 Order refunds (back to balance)

When the rules allow, we may refund an order by crediting your balance, for example:

  • You cancel while the order is still waiting and we haven’t received a code yet;
  • We time out and auto-cancel (e.g. ~20 minutes with no code, per the on-page notice).

Usually no refund (including but not limited to):

  • A code already arrived or the order completed;
  • The target site never sent mail, blocked you, or rejected the temp address;
  • You picked an unsupported or restricted site/domain, or other causes outside our control.

10) Acceptable use

Use the Site only in lawful ways. Don’t:

  • Do anything illegal, fraudulent, money-laundering related, harassing, spammy, or impersonating others;
  • Use temp emails to bypass third-party security, mass-register, credential-stuff, farm accounts, or cheat affiliate programs;
  • Use the service for government sites, banking, payments, or other high-sensitivity scenarios;
  • Reverse-engineer, attack, scrape, or automate around rate limits / fraud controls.

Breaking these rules can mean an immediate ban and end of service, and balance may not be returned (except where the law requires it).

11) Third parties & disclaimers

We depend on upstream inbox supply and on third-party sites’ policies and availability. We’re not responsible for:

  • Whether a third party sends mail, delays/losses, or whether a code is correct or usable;
  • Sender-side fraud controls or blocking of temp addresses;
  • Upstream rate limits, short outages, sold-out stock, or price changes that cause a failed order;
  • Problems caused by your network, device, browser, or how you use the Site.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise uninterrupted, error-free service or any specific uptime or success rate.

12) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability to you for a dispute is capped at the fees you actually paid for the orders at issue (unless the law says otherwise).

13) Closing your account

Email support to request account deletion. After closure, some records may still be kept for the period required by law or for security and compliance.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page. Keep using the Site after that and you’re accepting the new Terms.
